What to Expect During Treatment

After your initial FREE consultation and 3D scan, you'll receive your first set of custom aligners. Each set is worn for about two weeks, 20–22 hours per day, and then replaced by the next in the sequence. You'll return to our office every few weeks so Dr. Shao can evaluate your progress and make any necessary changes.

Treatment duration depends on the degree of complexity in the case, but most patients finish their Invisalign treatment between 9 and 15 months. Most patients need 18 to 30 aligners, although this depends on individuals' needs.
